4FT EARTH ROD

Earth rod also known as ‘Earth Electrode’. Is usually buried directly in the ground to facilitate flow of fault currents towards the ground. Vertically driven earth rods are the most effective electrodes. They are used in typically small area substations or when there’s low soil resistivity ground conditions, into which the rod can  penetrate, it lies beneath a layer of high soil resistivity.
